I am a photographer who is obsessed with nature’s perfections and imperfections. Through photography I comment on the seemingly mundane and ordinary which are, in fact, magnificent. These are the miracles of the everyday that surround us, if only we can allow ourselves the time to observe them. They are everywhere, every day and are the stuff that makes life worth living: the incredible bounty, the ever-changing light, the weather and its impact, the tiniest bud and raindrop to full blooms, vistas - both grandiose and backyard, and occasionally creatures. One cannot improve on Mother Nature, only strive to capture her creations. After a nomadic life, I currently reside in beautiful Montgomery Co. One of the places I had lived once upon a time was Leesburg when it was much sleepier place. I am a proponent of the arts and am involved in the local arts communities.
A beautiful homemade boule, fresh from the oven, stands in the spotlight on its own as the picture of perfection as “Bread Alone.” The only accompaniment is its reflection in the counter.
