Ken Bachman lives and works in Bethesda, Maryland. He has completed the three year Master Artist Program in oil painting at the Compass Atelier. He has had three solo shows during the last three years: at the Arts Club of Washington, the Hill Center Galleries and the Park View Gallery. In the past two years, he has received twenty one awards for his artworks in juried exhibitions. He received two “Best in Show” awards, one in the 2017 Olney Art Association Annual Juried Show at Kentlands Mansion and the other at the 2018 Hill Center Galleries Juried show of the Capitol Hill Art League. He was awarded first place in five juried shows: the 2019 Women’s Club of Chevy Chase show, the October 2018 and 2017 Waterford VA Fine Art Exhibitions, the June 2018 Friendship Heights Creative Expressions Show, and the 2017 open regional exhibition of the Capitol Hill Art League at the Hill Center.
