Linda Agar-Hendrix, originally from the Berkshires in New England, lived and worked in France before moving to Maryland over 20 years ago. Travel has provided her visual images which have translated into sculpture and photography with a focus on reflections and texture in nature. She has exhibited at various galleries in France, New England, Baltimore and New York in addition to participating in national juried shows at the Delaplaine Visual Art Center in Frederick, The Allegany Arts Council in Cumberland MD, Maryland Federation of Art and others. Her work is in private collections in France and the United States
At a mid winter photo shoot in Florida, I was able to shoot photos of Pelicans roosting and preening at the foot of a pier on the coast of south of Cape Canaveral. They didn't pay attention to me and I captured a number of closeups of their beautiful feathers.
