I am a photographer who is obsessed with nature’s perfections and imperfections just outside our doors. Through photography I comment on the seemingly mundane and ordinary which are, in fact, magnificent. These are the miracles of the everyday that surround us, if only we can allow ourselves the time to observe them. They are everywhere, every day and are the stuff that makes life worth living: the ever-changing light, the weather, the tiniest bud and raindrop to full blooms, vistas - both grandiose and backyard, and occasionally creatures. One cannot improve on Mother Nature, only strive to capture her creations. After a nomadic life, I currently reside in Montgomery Co. One of the places I had lived once upon a time was in Leesburg when it was a much sleepier place. I am a proponent of the arts and am involved in several local arts communities.

“Holding Court” is a recent interpretation of the regal quality that flowers offer. In this case, a snapdragon appears dressed in a soft red velvet robe surrounded by its subjects in paler yet fresh shades of spring.
